The Seoul International Book Fair organizes the “Best Book of Korea(BBK)” competition,
which aims to discover and introduce Korean books with various values such as originality, aesthetics, and distinctiveness to domestic and international readers.
This year, a total of 40 books were selected in four categories ― “Best Book Design in Korea,” “Best Book for Children in Korea,”
“Best Book of Pleasure in Korea,” and “Best Book of Wisdom in Korea.”

Here at 2024 Busan International Children's Book Fair, the selection of “Best Book for Children in Korea,” category for picture books are once again exhibited.

By approaching people's will and dreams in a new way in response to the ever-changing cultural trends,
these selected books makes innovation but nevertheless secure the essence of picture books.
These ten books are diverse and original, pursuing the truth and artistry inherent in picture books.
